JOSH LOVE

HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

Grew up in Mission Viejo, CA. Attended Long Beach Poly High School while breaking multiple school records as a Quarterback. Received zero scholarship offers out of high school. Decided to Walk-On at San Jose State (D1 - Mountain West Conference). After one year was put on scholarship. Started 26 games as a Spartan. Finished 3rd All-Time in passing yards. Capped off his senior year being named the 2019 Mountain West Player of the Year and First-Team All-Mountain West Quarterback while ranking 3rd nationally in passing yards per game at 326.9. Named Co-Captain as a Senior, recognized as a Semi-Finalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, top player in the country who began career as a non-scholarship athlete and was a William V. Campbell Trophy Semi-Finalist, honoring the top college football student-athlete. 

 

After training with Jordan Palmer in preparation, Josh went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams. Was released at the end of training camp in 2020. Recently was with the Cleveland Browns for their 2021 mini-camp. Currently a free agent waiting on his next opportunity to arise. While training to stay ready, Josh has been privately training Quarterbacks all throughout Southern California and is fully committed to giving every ounce of knowledge he has learned through the years to the football program here at the Togethership! With the help of his supporting staff, Josh’s goal is to maximize the potential of every athlete with positional field work, film study, chalktalk, and mental growth/toughness to best prepare them for the next level and beyond. #Togethership
